STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — While a June 2020 state law allowed pedal-assist e-bikes and throttle e-bikes to operate in bike lanes and streets in New York City, it also caused confusion among riders on what vehicles were deemed legal.
The city has released a number of charts in an effort to clear up lingering questions.
